Project Initiation: Winning the Pitch
This project was a competitive pitch for LogoPark., a newly established branding and web design agency. I was one of 326 participants, given the brief to submit an initial concept within three hours and, upon approval, deliver a comprehensive brand identity in the next 24 hours. The assignment's objective was clear: the most compelling branding solutions would win a contract with the firm.
The brief tasked me to design the brand identity of World Connect, a peer-to-peer payment service with an industrial client base. The visuals should have conveyed a seasoned, high-tech company, ideally using a palette of red, black, and metallic colours.
INTRO
World Connect is a company specializing in connecting industries through a single peer-to-peer payment service. Our objective was to create a cohesive brand identity & strategy, as well as a compelling digital experience for the landing page of their main product.
Positioning 
The positioning of "World Connect" is centred around the notion that connecting industries – with secure, high-tech, and reliable peer-to-peer payment solutions – provides a foundation for growth, collaboration, and streamlined financial operations in the modern industrial landscape.

Designing the landing page was a unique opportunity to test the flexibility of the new visual identity system for World Connect. Not only was it a chance to bring the brand to life in the digital realm, but it also provided an excellent platform to communicate the essence of World Connect through compelling copy, crafted specifically to complement the visual storytelling.

Colour System and typography
The colour palette for World Connect was designed with a digital-first approach, specifically tailored to facilitate optimal usage by developers and designers in the creation of World Connect's product front-end. While red and black serve as the primary colours, white and grey were strategically picked to indicate different states for components such as buttons and links.
This deliberate expansion provides developers and designers with a rich and versatile palette, enabling them to design user-centred interfaces by providing a colour system robust enough to support a complex design system.
For typography, the Gotham typeface was the choice based on its geometric qualities and extensive language support, allowing the brand to be consistent across different countries and cultures.
